Who We Are
Fox Speech & Feeding Therapy, LLC is a family-centered practice led by Heather Hoppe (formerly Heather Fox), M.S., CCC-SLP, a licensed, ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist. We specialize in early intervention (birth–3) and also support preschool and early school-age children for speech sounds, language, feeding, and early literacy. Feeding and swallowing therapy is a specialty of the practice, including babies transitioning off feeding tubes, premature infants, oral aversion, tongue-tie, and cleft palate, alongside our speech, language, and literacy work.
Fox Speech & Feeding Therapy is named after the owner's dad, whose last name was Fox. The logo, a mama fox and her baby, reflects the bond between a parent and child that is the center of how we treat. Heather started the practice in 2021 after two years in the Jefferson Parish schools. During COVID, she built virtual services for rural Louisiana families who had no feeding therapist within driving distance, and the practice still takes those referrals today. Our approach is to make the parent the therapist, so progress keeps happening between visits.
Services are offered in-home, at daycare or preschool, and virtually via teletherapy across Louisiana and Arkansas.
